Underestimated

Everymonth, everyweek, everyday, I can’t help but to look back to my HS years.

I thought I will not miss my HS classmates, my teachers and the school that I entered for 13 years too much. I and my HS classmates always tag our school as a school that does not provide a quality education.

Apparently, we’re wrong! When our school was granted level 1 status by the PAASCU we were all schocked! Who will expect that a 15 year old (going 16) school will pass the evaluations of the PAASCU.

Well, I reckon we had this notion because most of us were already studying in that school since the early 90’s. We underestimated our teachers and our school and I’m sorry for that. I asked some of my blockmates who came from San Fernando, Pampanga if they heard of our school and if it’s somehow famous. They told me that it is! Whoa! I did not expect that also. Again, I underestimated my school. One of my blockmates told me (in the vernacular), “Why it won’t be famous? Two of your schoolmates are now in the show business and are products of a reality based show.” Now, don’t ask me who are they. Hehe.

Moving on, ever time I can, I tell my blockmates about my HS classmates and anything that is related to my GS and HS life. My teacher who don’t know how to speak in English well (oh, and now, we also got an instructor whose tongue is not good at English), our valedictorian, the size of our school, the programs that we had, and the covered multi-purpose court (you can do there whatever you want) in our school.

When the university that I’m currently attending decided to suspend classes (I went there, traveled for an hour just to find out that there are no classes that day) I and my friends decided to go to our school. As far as I know, they were the only ones here in San Fernando, Pamapga who had classes that day.

There were some changes in our school because it’s eying for the level 2 status. All of the computers in the computer room are now equipped with modems and are now connected to the internet. Also, they already have ID’s. And in the near future, students and pupils will swipe their ID’s as they enter the school premises.

Hey! I’m already advertising our school hu? Anybody who whishes to study in the school that I’m talking about, just ask me! Lol!

Yeah, I’m being nostalgic!

My monitor at home is not working at the moment. I’m on a public comuter at school right now and abusing the resources! Lol! I got most of my grades for prelims already. My lowest grade is 84… SSC01b. Urgh!

[EDIT] I already have a brand new monitor! [/EDIT]

WARNING: Midterm exams are fast approaching!
