Boo!
First of all, I want to greet everyone a Happy Creepy Hallowe’en!
Let’s talk something scary or shall I say anything that is supposed to be spooky?
First on the list is a costume party. I want to go back to my childhood years and throw a hallowe’en party! No, not the typical of party where boys have to go on a Dracula costume with red lipstick on the sides of their mouth and girls have to go on a Cinderella (make sure you’re only wearing a shoe or Snow White (with matching twelve dwarfs) costume. You see, I was able to read an article in the 2BU section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer last week that suggested some ideas for a hallowe’en party. The one that I liked most was the vegetable-themed party! Lol. I would be in a pumpkin costume! Just don’t go in a carrot costume, I’m afraid Bug’s Bunny would also attend the party! Lol!
I can still remember those old days where we had hallowe’en party in school. A hallowe’en party won’t be complete if there was no Mummy Relay, it’s a game where a person covers another person with tissue. This one is best played on one-ply tissue paper! There were even non-hallowe’en related games like the kissing card game (suck and blow game) which I really hate! There’s a tendency that you could kiss straight to the lips the previous and/or next person to you! (What if the previous and/or next person to you comes from the same gender as you?). And there was this one hallowe’en party that I and some of my classmates did not attend! Where were we at that time? We were in the computer room of our school, doing our school publication and playing some computer games! Call us KJ if you want. We don’t like to mingle with some of the students in our school!
Second, I don’t really like watching horror movies! They make my blood vessels numb! The last one which I was able to see was “Mortuary”, good thing it was not that scary. Actually, there was this one point in the movie where I and my friends laughed. Isn’t it weird that the zombies in the movie are afraid of NaCl
Third on my list is the Horror Train, were you able to ride one? Well, I was able to ride one on my junior year. It was really hilarious and ridiculous! I was really laughing hard during the ride. It did not even send the creeps out of me! How will I get scared? The sun was up (I think that was in the afternoon) when I had my first try on it. And there was also somebody throwing talcum powder to the person who was supposed to be scaring us to death!
The last one is about a Horror House. During my grade school days, there was one in school. It was not scary at all, it was only dark. And I was able to get a bump on my head because there were chairs scattered around the room.
Oh, I just had lungs for lunch! Yummy!
