Publicity
Have you heard Alyssa Alano’s “Keys Me”? I heard about this in the news ages ago but I was only able to see and hear the video (with lyrics) last Monday. If you have not seen it, here is the video (brought to you by YouTube):
Actually, the title of the song should be “Kiss Me”. The rendition of Alyssa Alano was a very bad one. It has full of wrong pronunciations which makes it funny. In one way or another, because of this, people from other countries will have the notion that we don’t know how to pronounce correctly. But I admit that; Filipinos are not good at pronunciation! Please, don’t be offended. This is just my observation and opinion.
What more if you’ll add the accent?
I don’t know if this “Keys Me” is just a publicity stunt or if she does not really know how to pronounce words like beneath (v-neat), shoes (shoez) and fireflies (parflays) correctly. Mind you, if it is supposed to be a publicity stunt, it’s good for her! She became (somehow) famous because of this hillarious video.
Publicity stunt or not, it’s really hillarious. And this one also proves that Filipinos can still laugh in the midst of many problems. So keys me! Lol!
Oh, I want to plug my deviantART account. Please visit it and look at my gallery. Thanks! Actually, I’m getting addicted to it lately because of the new version of deviantART. And speaking of version, this site is still stocked at version19.5. I have not made a new layout yet. Besides I’m very busy and I’m having a layout block at the moment.
I just also want to announce to all Amazing Race fanatics, the next season is just around the corner. Lol! I can’t wait!
[EDIT] New layout! Woot! As you can see, the new layout features personalized postage stamps. (They’re just fictitious.) I’ll describe some of the pictures that are depicted in the stamps:
- Restricted Mind: My first ever column. One of the two articles I wrote for this column is available here. (Last column, third row.)
- SLRCSS: The logo of the school that I entered for thirteen years! (Last column, first row.)
- EQ: Economy o’ Quality?: Our finals for Social Study is a documentary. I had a great time doing it! (Fourth row, columns three to five and second column, third row.)
- Apung Manalangin: Click here. (First column, first row)
