Hosting
Rules
First and foremost, you must know HTML, CSS, and FTP (FTP is so easy to learn, just download the right program, and you’re set as you only drag and drop files to upload or download them) as I don’t have time to teach you how. PHP knowledge is a plus but not required. I only allows blogs with or without personal content. By logic, that means I don’t allow any other types of sites, be it a fansite, forums, whatever. I offer only three options on how to blog: manual blogging, by using Blogspot1 and by installing WordPress (no B2, TextPattern, Cute News, etc.).
For the layout, I don’t really care if you’ll use one of those free layouts found in the Internet or how many times you change your layout. I don’t even care if your layout is just plain text and CSS. As much as possible, your codes must be valid, or if you could not make them valid, just be sure it’s viewable on IE and Firefox. If you intend to put some images on your posts, please upload them somewhere else.
Post your entries in English, but you are allowed to post using your vernacular occasionally.
Please always bare in mind to give credit to whom it is due.
Of course, I don’t tolerate pornography, racism, and the like.
Other common rules that I don’t really have to mention (as you already know them, in the case that you don’t know them, sorry, I will not host you) must be observed at all times.
Finally, proper netiquette is always a must.
Basically, I’m looking for somebody who has blogged for around five months and up. Sorry to the newbies out there!
Any breech of these rules may result to the deactivation, worse, deletion of your free hosting plan.
PS: For those who are planning to use WordPress please always upgrade to the latest stable release (not the betas and release candidates). And make sure that the versions of the plugins that you use are up-to-date.
PPS: You’re not required to link to the other blogs that I host. Why link to bloggers’ blogs when you don’t even know them at the first place, right?
