Before Asteeg.Net

I had my first taste in making a website way back in 2003 by using a WYSIWYG program. After a few months I learned HTML at Lissa Explains it All via Gliza. I had no permanent site in the internet for some time, I moved to and from Geocities, Xanga and Blogspot until Robbie hosted my blog at kud0s.org for two months.

Asteeg.Net

Asteeg.Net was created on February 03, 2005. It currently houses my blog and some personal stuff. Asteeg.Net was chosen among other suggestions of my HS friends because of its uniqueness. There is no such word (asteeg) in English and even in Tagalog Even the word astig, from which it was derived is not listed in any lexicon. It’s a colloquial term which when translated into English will be “cool.” Asteeg.Net was officially opened on February 15, 2005. For some time in the last part of 2006 up to February of 2007, I decided to leave this site because I got tired of my domain name. But in the end, I decided to reopen this site.
