New Shoes

That’s the chorus of Paolo Nutini’s “New Shoes.” No, this entry is not about his song — it’s just that I like the song — but about my new shoes. Lol. As you might have noticed, I included a photo of my brand new Chucks in this blog post.
It was last Saturday when I got my new Chucks. After an exhausting day, my mother came home and she was bringing a pair of shoes. According to my mother, a balikbayan (a Filipino who came back here in the Philippines from a distant country) gave them. There were no markings on the shoes to whom they should be given. And it was my younger sister who noticed them first and it was she who claimed them. Actually, she’s addicted to Chuck Taylor All-Stars. Currently, she has three pairs of this brand of shoes. Then, my younger brother said that it was his. He’s sort of an addict too, in fact, he got his latest pair of Chucks a few months ago.
I told them that it should be mine because I haven’t got any Chucks1 and that I’ve been wearing the same rubber shoes for almost two years. In the end the shoes got in the long list of my possessions. And hey, they fit my feet! The only drawback is that some parts of the shoes are in pink (e.g. shoelace, inner padding). Because of that, I had to buy shoelaces for my new Chucks. XD
Oh, well, I was really lucky last Saturday! Haha.

Apparently, i dont have my own chucks too. It’s not because nobody wants it for me, but because they dont have my size. :-L so. Lucky you.

Why wouldn’t your dad let you get your pair of Chucks?! That’s just mean!
Anyway, I love my pair, not just coz my bf gave them to me, but because it is my first pair! Lucky you!

I’m starting to hate that kind of shoes. In no time, they easily learn how to smile on their own as you move your feet (if you know what I mean).

I got a new pair of shoes today too . they’re nike. the thing is they’re a bit tight on me so i think they might be a bit too small haha. but i’m planning on wearing them anyway , they look so nice. haha i guess there’s a little bit of imelda in all of us.

You have a nice pair of shoes which are easy to match. I am lazy to tie the lace so I go for the velcro type if possible.
