During my pre-Asteeg.Net days, I had like around five homes in the Internet, I moved to and from Blogspot, Geocities, and Xanga (to name a few) numerous times. Yes, with this domains you can get your own site for free, but then, you wouldn’t get your own identity. So when I got the first chance to get myself a domain, I didn’t think twice. Now that I have this site, I have my own identity. I have my own home here in the Internet. For over three years, this site have been my domain and I as of now, don’t have any plans on transferring to a new domain.
But the catch is that looking for the right domain registrar can be very difficult and time-consuming. In my case, I even had to ask some of my online friends to refer me to a good domain registrar.
