I’m just so glad I’m out of school… Well, not that it ever stopped… life-long learning is still key in the job market… Still have to take the occasional seminars and skills-updating courses when I have time.

I remember my first year of hs when we were required to go to a speech lab for English (my English teacher herself thought it was stupid, but since the school insisted…). As cool as the lab looked with all its gadgetry, it was a complete waste of time since the recordings we had to listen to mispronounced words a lot, spoke wrong grammar, and had the kind of accent that you wished never spoke English EVER. Our teacher didn’t have to nitpick it—we all did it for her. Afterwards, our teacher complained to our school director about it. We were in that speech lab for a total of one time in the two years I was in that school. XD

Swimming is evil, you have no idea how happy I was when I managed to escape from taking that for PE. XD

Well, despite all the suckiness, I hope you still find a way to enjoy school. :]

So far, in my school, I’m finding my subjects quite enjoyable, and my new classmates very nice and friendly. I don’t really have any complaints except that I don’t get to talk much anymore with my old friends from last year. Sigh~ I guess that’s life.

I like English also!! But then, ithe supposedly Oral Communication class became a sort of lecture-show-and-tell class. -__-” It’s still coolthough, I guess.

And so you were biten by the school bug. Just like me.

I have Speech Communication as a subject. Though we don’t have a laboratory in UPLB (Poor UP), I enjoy it nonetheless. I have a gay professor and he’s every creative and loud! LOL. And we were like playing in our class.

As for PE, we only have the discussions. I think the action would be available next sem.

I also have PolSci and it rocks, really. I’m pretty interested in Politics and the discussions and debates among my opinionated classmates is worth enjoying. I think you should also have those things in your PolSci. Thinking out loud really does miracles.

I faintly recall myself thinking the same thoughts when I was in school. I’m glad I’m over it. School has its ups & downs but when it’s down it’s really really really way down English was also one of my fave subjects together with Pol Sci :eek:

Hah. that’s school alrighty. It is the torture that makes it a school. Nevertheless, good luck. Uhm…. I like to have classes and attend school again! English….. blah, very bad subject for me since our english lecturer is blaaaaaaaaah. Political science is good! I love that subject (since I once dreamed of becoming a lawyer). You should perfect the attendance. Hahaha!

I agree.. School is tiring esp. if you are a graduating student. Plus the all the pressure and the deadlines. Wah! You’re only on your 2nd yr right? Never ever let your hectic sched get to you. Easy lang, learn to relax.Things will be back to “normal” soon, you’ll see.
