So I’m Addicted With Snidget?
Almost two weeks after I acquired Snidget (my brand new notebook), my father is now accusing me of using my notebook excessively. I guess, I’m guilty. The accusation against me is correct. I’m just only using my laptop for more than ten hours daily. Bad, eh? But then, if I won’t do so, there’s nothing left for me to do. This is the only way I can fight boredom.
Thanks to del.icio.us and Digg, they’re keeping me busy. I’ve seen spectacular sites, gain some new knowledge and laughed with only just these two sites.
Now, I’ll be sharing to you the sites or pages that I’ve been visiting lately.
- 1-click Award — The site is in Japanese, but you don’t have to read anything. Just look at the embedded Flash on this site (and try clicking on it). It was hilarious! I want that cursor on my notebook!
- Drivl.com | The 22 Worst Place Names in the World — Funny. Did you know that there’s a place called F*cking in Austria? Eh? Now, I wonder what are the worst place names here in the Philippines.
- Upside-Down-Ternet — Though no one is stealing my wireless internet access, how I wish this is possible with a PC. Do you know how to do this in Vista? Teach me! This how-to is for Linux users.
- Gateway II — A Flash game for those people with a high IQ.
- Line Game — Another Flash game, but this time, for everyone!
- Hack DNS for lightning-fast Web browsing — I’ve done this ages ago, and I can say that it’s effective. You should try it, especially those who are still using dial-up.
Well, that’s all for now. There’s really nothing to tell you nowadays.
PS: I’m not sure about this, but has Google acquired FeedBurner recently?

I’d do the same thing if I’ll have a notebook as cool as yours!
BTW, please update my link! Thanks.

That’s what DSL connection can do. You’ve been gone even before your laptop came and after you had your DSL.
Haha

Yey! Thanks for the tip. The opendns thing really works. Malapit na talaga akong mabaliw sa dial up na ito. Ang galing mo talaga, ang dami mong alam.

I use my laptop for at least… 12 hours in a day.
8 hours during work
3 hours, at least… at home (1 hour = work-related, the other 2 hours for personal stuff like blogging and surfing the Net)
I long for a job that doesn’t require me to be using a computer. (Silly me, I chose to be a software tester / quality assurance analyst.) Circus clown, maybe.

I must be as bored as you are, I’ve seen almost all of those (except for the line game). The jap cursor was shown to me by my sis though, the rest I stumbled upon on my own. The upside-down/blurry net is awesome if I could actually understand how to do it (and if someone’s stealing our net).

If I were you, I’d probably use my laptop excessively too. I mean you ARE given the privilege right? Why not use it? Hehe.
Apparently there are a lot of places in Europe which end with “ing” but that? It’s totally hilarious.

Addicted? I’d probably be addicted, too, had I have one. And Juice’s right. Why not do it if you have the priviledge?!

Unlike you, I rarely touch my laptop (Nodachi), because there’s a huge difference between the colours of the monitor of my desktop and my laptop, which I found rather disturbing. The second reason being we don’t have a wireless router, so you can say that I’m not only wasting my money for buying Nodachi, but also [the speed] our broadband connection.
Hehehe, I’ll try and play that Gateway II and we’ll see how far I can get.

Cool name for your new notebook.
