Watch-U-Want
I was reading the Amazing Race articles at Wikipedia and here are some notable trivias I found: 
- Host Phil Keoghan is known to take the same flight as the teams on various legs of the race.
- Before the race actually begins, the teams are filmed running from the starting line several times, in order to get different close-ups and angles of all the teams. Whoa, that’s very tiring!
- The Amazing Race already went here in the Philippines (Season 5)
- Until Season 9, no team had ever been eliminated as a result of being yielded. Ironically, every team Yielded before Season 9 went on to make the Final Three.
- The longest amount of time Phil waited at a Pit Stop for the last team to arrive was more than 24 hours (Season 2)
Yesterday we watched Poseidon. We were twenty minutes late so when the time we entered the cinema, the large ocean liner was already flipped over and started to sink down. I did not know why that movie was entitle Poseidon until I asked my father. He told me that the liner was named after the god of sea — Poseidon. I don’t have my spectacles when I watched it so I can’t see clearly. If you want to read the plot of the movie, head over to its own page at Wikipedia. All I can say is that the moviemakers wasted $160,000,000.00 for that movie. If you watched Titanic you’ll have an idea what is the movie all about. But in this movie, there are no love scenes, only few survived and as what I had said, the ship turned upside-down.
It’s really obvious that the moviemakers are already running out of ideas. If you still don’t know, Poseidon is a movie remake from the 1972 and it’s only an adaptation from the novel by Paul Gallico.
PS: I don’t want to talk about DVC anymore for a reason that I don’t like to reveal. I’ll never watch the movie! And good thing it has a rating of R-18, with this I will never see it in the big screens. But I can still say that MTRCB is exaggerating for giving DVC a rating like that.

I haven’t seen AR since season 5. season 9 na pala. ang dami ko nang namiss.
Like I said in Hazel’s blog, The Da Vinci wasn’t that good so you didn’t miss much anyway.

I’m watching Poseidon right now. I agree with what you said. It sucks.
Feeling ko ang tagal kong nawala. Seems like every blog I visit always have something about The Da Vinci Code, and that the blogger wouldn’t talk about it anymore.
But yes, K.rys is right. You didn’t miss much. It’s nothing compared to the book.

hoho amazing race. ive been watching it since season 3 kasi yung teacher ko nun inimpluwensyahan ako. issue nga samin nun yung winners kasi dapat daw si zach 75% yung makukuha tapos si flo yung remaining since wala syang ganong natulong. no comment nalang ako sa davinci.

aaah, the end of another amazing (race) season. finally, a team I’ve loved from the very beginning won. my faith in the show has been restored!!!! haha..
Poseidon.. yep.. great effects.. but the plot?? was there even a plot??? hahaha

Wow, parang naeenganyo akong magpahost, but I don’t think I would be able to maintain it once the sem starts. I guess you’ll know what I mean as you’ll also exprience college life in June.
I’ve got no interest in watching Poseidon. Parang Titanic trying - hard yung dating sa akin. e

I used to watch Amazing Race but I dont watch it anymore because of school. :lolz: I rest my case on that Da Vinci Code.:grr: Ive read the book naman and I dont stand a chance na. The book was a whole lot better than the movie anyway.:sweat:

I used to like to watch Poseidon when I first saw the trailers some weeks ago, but now, I don’t know if i still want to. With all the bad reviews… and yeah, since many have said, you included, that it’s just the same plot as Titanic, might as well I do not watch it. Maybe I’ll just watch Over the Hedge. Hehhe :))
Oh and “spectacles”.. hahaha you use uh, unusual terms sometimes. LOL

Hm. I heard the movie Poseidon was really good and was recommended but that was the first review type thing and this is the second opinion I hear. So.. yeah. but I still want to see it either way.

weee i cant relate the AR thing kasi wala parin ang cable namin :redface: nakakainis wala tuloy akong ibang mapanod… poseidon may palabas pala nyan sa sinehan hmmm matignan nga yung preview after this and about the DVC i dont want to watch it in cinema maybe ill wacth it in dvd..im waiting for the omen i think its scary to death :eek:

strange a lot of people hear says its very good. Why people are comparing it so much with titanic I don’t think its meant to be that was. A lot of people have been bashing da vinci code, too bad its r18 there. DVC is just a really ordinary movie, it came from a book so what do people expect?

i guess poseidon is okay considering it’s a remake. but i love the love song fergie from BEP sang. i just don’t know the title. hehe.
i’m not a fan of the amazing race but i happen to watched this episode. yay for the hippies! hehe.
i think many bloggers had ‘dvc’ as their main subject last week. i just want to read the book first. R-18? ugh. boo for mtrcb. some people said that the movie is disappointing. hmm..
