I dunno why, but I’m not that interested in plays. For some reason, I daydream while watching.

And oh, I still haven’t read Romeo and Juliet. I am such a loser.:lmao:

woah! i want to watch that too.. fave ko ung mga plays e… but, strangely, i love tragedies.. ewan ko ba, bsta gusto ko ung mga gnun… wait! may bed scene?! buti pnayagan un.. lol!

Gay guys are the best actors. I want to see that play. Usually Filipinos only pick actors who look good(WTF is make-up artist for anyway?) Thats why a lot of movies and shows sick but that romeo and juliet thing sounds very intersting.

I saw Romeo and Juliet too. The guy who played Romeo is actually my friend and some of the dancers too.. Same here, when we watched the play the nurse had made the most impact.

OMFG! I’m a huge Shakespeare fan! He’s good; so good, that I always make sure that I have my archaic English dictionary with me whenever I fall short deciphering his wordplays. He’s so beyond the writers of today. He is, indeed, the William Shakespeare.

Oh, I wish you had a video or something of that modern rendition.

I *heart* plays..well it depends on the production. Hehe. But for most part, I loved most of the plays I watched kasi halos lahat ng napanood ko stage performance ng mga Louisians.

If you get to read Shakespears writings. most are tragedies talaga. Maybe, yun yung “in” na style of writing noon… Like nung late 19th century, ang “in” is yung non-romance writing

Stage actors and actresses who have the most impact in the audience are almost always the ones who bring about laughs. I’ve noticed that too. As the others sometimes say, Sila ang nagdadala ng pelikula/play.

I haven’t read Romeo and Juliet. I know, I suck haha. The only play I’ve ever seen is Ang Pagpapaamo sa Maldita (The Taming of the Shrew) in ADMU around 5 years ago, when I was still in QueSci. Loved it. :p Of course there were also sensitive scenes, but then again, it’s theater.

Sidedish lang. You know I was a part of a theater organization in Baguio, right? Yung TABAK. We had this play called Carnivale Exotica, which we (or they - I was the PA of the play, assistant stage manager of the whole program, and all-around gofer, haha) performed on Freshie Night (the most awaited “party” in UPB held during August).

Just lately they, the ones who are still in UPB, elaborated the script of the first skit. It’s a homosexual story. So yeah, the main characters kissed passionately, with tongues, sa stage last Freshie Night lang (I can only imagine the rehearsals). And they’re both around 17. Rawr! :p

Okay, sorry for spamming. Nostalgia lang.
