The thirteenth housemate
EDITOR’S NOTE: This entry was written days before the announcement that there is indeed a real thirteenth housemate who’ll enter the PBB house. This post has nothing to do with Joaqui. And as you can see, I don’t have any plans to change the title of this post.

I shall call for a hiatus effectively this Wednesday. It can be as fast as some couple of days or as long as forever. You see, I have to enter one of the intriguing houses in the country, and there, I have to interact with other 12 teenagers with different personalities known as housemates.
Even if I will be the first evictee, I canÂ’t guarantee that I can go back blogging here. One reason IÂ’m pondering is that the bandwidth usage of this site will be for sure skyrocketing.
Ladies and gentlemenÂ… the thirteenth PBB Teen housemateÂ… the one who will ruin KuyaÂ’s house and even the whole show. Ang blogger ng PamapangaÂ…

Happy to say, this is only a hoax. (Well, except for the last part because IÂ’ll try to ruin PBB).
MY NOTE: ThatÂ’s just the introduction and thereÂ’s no reason for you to believe any single word from it. And I donÂ’t have any plans to enter the PBB house no matter how intriguing it is. You see, during the other editions, I canÂ’t stand the show itself because of the contestants, what more if IÂ’m inside it? This is the way how I like to open this entry.
And now, let me criticize the show.
Season One: Urgh, I donÂ’t really like it because for obvious reasons: some housemates are too liberated. Enough.
Celebrity Edition: This is better than the first one. And I donÂ’t find the housemates too liberated. But they might be hiding their true personalities. Knowing that they have big names to protect.
Teen Edition: I think we will know more about the meaning of the word “liberated”, now that the guests of Kuya are teenagers.
Two days ago, I stumbled upon the official PBB site and found an article about the new installment of PBB. And I have this to quote:
Â…Pwede nilang basagin ang konsepto na ang Philippine youth ay estudyante lang na go to school lang ang ginagawa. (Â…They can break the concept that a Philippine youth is a student that the thing he/she only do is going to school.)
I donÂ’t think the new contestants have still something to break. Because that conceptÂ’s is already broken. Why? The answerÂ’s already in front of your eyesÂ… the 13 housemates (yeah, including me). LetÂ’s have the Teenage Mom ng Laguna: If the Philippine Youth only goes to school, how come she had premarital sex and alas, she has already now a baby. WhatÂ’s worst is that the father of the child left them.
There are so many people who wants to join this reality based show. Some will answer “I want to prove something.” to the question Why do you want to join PBB. And that answer is good. But I think most of the times the answer that the PBB-housemates-wannabe is “It’s because I want to be an actor/actress”. Urgh. I hope it’s not the latter our new housemates answered when they were asked by somebody. Now, what they have to prove is that:
Ang kabataan ang pagasa ng bayan.

I love the new interior design of the PBB House! Pop-arts, color-combinations and everything! I wanted to join PBBTE but since I’m only 14, I can’t join. I don’t want to falsify my documents just to join

Yung look nung house yung gusto mo? Overall rating? Hehe.
I am not optimistic about the teen edition. Kasi kung titignan mo yung housemates, mga elitistang kabataan yung nandun.
If they want to prove something, they don’t need this st*pid show. Feeling ko feel lang nila kumuha ng public attention at mag-artista kasi stuff like these are stepping stones to showbiz. If those people want to prove something, they they should prove it to those people who know them personally(their families, friends, acquaintances…), not to people who do not have a clue about them. What people see in the house are are just their outer layer. Ang hipocrito kasi ng Philippine Media sa totoo lang. As in super sa pagkaplastic. Facade na facade talaga.

honestly. i’m no interested watching the pbb teen edition… well siguro kung natanggap yung classmate kong bading baka manood pa ako to support him.. pero hindi e. according to him this teen edition na ito ay yung parang pinalit nila doon sa star circle quest. AHAHAHAHA! Meaning, obviously, feeling artisita ang mga natanggap doon. and from what my mum told me, puro well.. uh.. mayayaman na bata ang andoon. ahahaha. so.. yeah…. i don’t want to watch another teen star/idol reality search. XD.
Louie: Napansin ko nga e, parang star circle quest nyan ang PBB. for sure, bagsak nanaman ang ratings ng ABS kung SCQ ang ipapalabas nila diba? At halatang mayayaman naman yung mga yun. Argh… mga teenagers na walang talent nanaman nyan ang magiinvade sa ABS. eeew.

I don’t know if they would present a good image for the Filipino youth. I really have this gut feel that the girls will just spend their time mostly on “girl/love life/kikay” talk (like what they have shown earlier). Kung kasama siguro ako do’n, tiyak OP galore na naman ako. :lolz: And I agree, most of them are just using PBB as a stepping stone to becoming actors.

ooooooooooooo PBB I hate that show so much. The people are so real that sad to say they’re boring. You know ‘liberated’ is not a bad thing everybody is ‘liberated’ but they just have some controll or whatever. There are hundreds of thousands of teenage moms form all over the world and duh their babies don’t have daddys. It be ten times worst if they were forced to marry. Yeah everybody wants to be a star even if they have no talent just so they can get easy cash.

Well, yea I agree with your comments about the season 1 and 2 of PBB… while this teen edition.. well, I’ll not be jumping to a conclusion now. Maybe.. I need to watch the whole show before I comment about it. And yea!! I like the new look of the house. It’s really nice. teehee. oh well, take car and have a nice day!

SheeshÂ… People are watching the current season just because the contestants are beautiful people. Starstruck and SCQ fanatics would surely love the show. Burn, people, and die!
You know, IÂ’m shutting up, for all hell might break loose if I continue. Words canÂ’t express how I loathe PBB.

haha, i love watching the show not because i am fan but i love watching people inside a box with different personalities. esp now that’s they’re teenagers, mind you i loathe most of the girls there esp. nina… ang arte nya sobra.
i think it has become a cliche na iyong answer na i want to prove something. so what? i mean mapupunta rin iyon sa pag-aartista… tsaka very obvious that the management is just making a new loveteam para ipapasikat nila eh.

know what? i never liked pbb until now. true, i looked into the ‘face’ of the housemates. but what can i say, eh ganun talaga eh. pero you’re right, i’m pretty sure that sooner or later the teens will show how liberated they are and that’s the time i would stop watching it. the show is still fresh that’s why i’m still hooked but knowing my personality, mag-sasawa rin ako. last night’s episode was pretty patethic coz they were crying a LOT. agh. so yeah, that’s how my mind goes. hehe. peace.

Well, iba na talaga ang kabataan ngayon… I don’t know what to say. haha.. –’coz I watch pbb. lol. gerald and mikee are so cute! niña and kim are damn pretty! hahaha.. lol. So yeah, that’s it. Erm, anyway.
I find PBB amusing at some points. Let’s say, Budoy from the Celebrity edition and those two funny guys from the first season. But PBB makes me mad. It is nothing but fake entertainment.
So okay it might be amusing to see different personalities of different people over national tv but puro plastikan ang PBB. Gusto ko nga sumbatan si Tuesday nung sinabi nya dati na tama lang magplastikan kung para naman sa malaking halaga ng pera.
Tanga.
And then what is this TEEN edition? It’s not a good thing for Philippines Youth actually. You see different kinds of teens, unveiled on tv at such ripe ages. And those teens, they join and after a while start whining and cying about how much they want to go out of the freaking house.
Gosh. Is this too long? I’m sorry. Lol. K I’ll stop. But oh one more thing, look at the contestants now - all looking good, all on their way to stardom through a reality show. How… amazing, right? /sarcasm
