It starts…

I’m officially a college student. As of now I’m still enjoying it.
During the night before the classes formally opened, I haven’t got sleep… I think it’s my insomnia. But I did not feel drowsy during the discussions.
I’m still in the “culture shock” mode; I’m having a hard time doing some conversations with my new classmates. Well, I have this classmate which I already met during my first year in high school. And I don’t have any classmate or batch mate in high school that is in the same section as mine. I found many people eager to gain new friends and I’m pleased that some were talking to me sometimes. And I think, these are the reasons why I find myself with my high school classmates during vacant periods.
I just hope they’ll not find this blog.
As of now, I think I already met all of our instructors except for NSTP and if we will have a separate instructor for Chemistry (lab). In general, I found my instructors very humorous. Or are they just really like that during the first meeting? Almost of the subjects that I’m taking looks interesting especially English, Math and Anthropology.
Wish me luck, okay?
Yeah… that’s it. I don’t want to make a long entry with detailed scenes on what happened to me because I know you won’t like that.

Yea, you’re already a college student and I hope everything will go well. Just do your best and I hope you’ll succeed. You know what, I had the same thing before my classes satrted. Last onday, I tried to sleep but guess what, I slept at around 2 in the mroning and woke at 4 am… yeah, I think I got a hangover with my summer , up to now.

Profs are always their best during the first meet, especially kung freshies ang hawak nila. You know, trying to make you people more comfortable with the thought that, “Hey! You’re college students already!”
Natawa naman ako sa comment mo Louie. Iniisip ko pa pero parang na-break mo ata yung record ni Tammy sa pinakamahabang comment. LOL. I’d really like the idea of having a sort of a protest against useless (and hence, spam) comments. San tayo, sa Mendiola? :lolz: Dapat nga magpasa na tayo ng proposal sa congress fining spammers Php1M per spam comment they make. Mayaman na tayo pag ganun noh? Sayang haha.

believe it or not, i am actually interested about your first days in college. i wanna know how it is for u. kaya tell us about it when you update ok.. =)
and plus, you have to be open minded & friendly (im not saying u r not, ok) to have friends… and u must always have the courage to open a conversation with anyone. goodluck with that.. =)

Hehe… Me enjoying too.. not really culture shocked though.. But I AM shocked about having tons and loads of assignments in just the first couple of days of having REAL classes. Believe me, you’ll be thankful to not study Nursing in UST.. It’s very stressful and all… Not to mention that you need to climb up to the 6th floor everyday lugging around heavy books.. lol. But yea, I did make a lot of friends already though. ^_^”

hehe taray mo naman. anyway, masaya talaga ang college life, lalo na medyo relax pa lang during your first year. at yan ang tinatawag na TOTOONG CLASSROOM and Independency sa prof.
