Birthday, mouse, classes, today and TLE
Okay, I’m not ignoring this blog for the past few days, it just happened that I don’t have something to share with you lately. Yes, I can’t think of a decent entry title for this.

It was the 18th birthday of one of my high school classmates yesterday. No, she did not have an extravagant party where you have to come in formal attire. Half of my high school classmates were present. She treated us at the nearby Yellow Cab. I had a great time with them. We were so noisy that you can even hear our voices down stairs (we were eating at the second floor). It’s my second time to eat a pizza that was ordered at a branch of Yellow Cab. I don’t like it. I prefer Pizza Hut’s famous pizzas. But my classmates really like them. They were munching their pizzas enjoyably while I was pretending that I like those pizzas. I took two slices of pizzas, bad move. I was not able to finish my meal because I don’t really like them. Don’t ask me why I don’t like Yellow Cab, we have our own preferences. I may like something that you may not like and the other way around.

A cat has slaughtered my two-months-old mouse. I already threw it somewhere because it’s already malfunctioning. Also, one was raped by a vicious cat and another one was killed by a tabby cat. Yesterday, I bought another mouse. I hope this new mouse will last for ages; I don’t want to spend my allowance for another mouse anymore. Oh, good thing the mouse that I bought comes with a free mouse pad. It’s not a fabulous mouse pad but it will do for me since my old mouse pad is getting a bit gross.

My classes will start on the 13th of this month — a day after Independence Day. I will be lying if I’ll tell you that I’m not excited but I still don’t want to go back to school. Yeah, it’s really ironic.

It’s 06.06.06 today. Some says this day is an omen of chaos and the like. It’s the stupidest thing that I ever heard during the past month! Just like with Friday the 13th, if you believe that this is a bad day, for sure, you’ll have a bad day. If you think otherwise (just like me) you can have an ordinary day or an extravagant day full of surprises! Don’t be pessimistic!

I heard (from my high school classmates) that our English teacher who knows “corridor” as “correidor”, who doesn’t even know how to spell “exorcism” & “ghost” and who we always laugh at because he doesn’t really know what he is teaching is now the current TLE (aka THE) teacher of our school. Most of us were laughing (during the party of my previous classmate) because of this. We just really can’t believe that he’s still in that institution as a teacher. I think the curriculum in TLE will be changed because a male teacher was able to secure this job. We can’t even imagine him doing all of those stuffs that our TLE teacher did when she was still teaching like baking. I also heard that our senior adviser laughed when she told this to my classmates! I think I know the reason why he became the TLE teacher, during the last days of the last school year, some of us were asked to evaluate our teachers, and this new TLE teacher got the lowest score from us… straight six (the lowest grade that we can give).

I haven’t tried the pizzas in Yellow Card (walang Yellow Cab dito! :lol:). Pizza Hut is the best. Their service is good too but then their foods are way expensive.
For a moment there, I thought you were referring to a mouse(daga).
I bought a new mouse too after I ruined my old one (again..). My new one is an optical mouse so maybe it’s much durable as what its box says. And I finally bought a mouse pad. It has a mound where you can place your wrist so that it’s not tiring.
Our classes will start on the 13th too, I guess it goes to all universities too. Goodluck with your first year in college! Remember to have fun!
I don’t believe in those superstitions. My day was OK. Well except for what happened to me (and all of my classmates) today in our enrollment. I don’t blame it the “06.06.06″. My crappy school is to be blamed.
About your former teacher, at least you won’t be there anymore to witness his stupidty.

06.06.06. Actually, I don’t give a damn about it. Period. Oh, would you believe if I told you that 6 is actually one of my lucky numbers? Hehe.
Ooooh! A teacher! A grammar royalty wannabe! You know, I and my high school clique laughed at every teacher and co-student who always made grammatical mistakes. I think that’s the point when I turned into a full-fledged Grammar Nazi. High school rocked. Hehehe…

I like Yellow Cab!
I agree that Pizza Hut tastes better, lalo na kung stuffed crust, but well… Yellow Cab is cheaper and the size of its pizzas are great for lots of people. Hehe. As for “the day of the demon”… I stay away from horror movies so I really have no background on The Omen movie and The Omen day everyone’s talking about. :redface: It gives me nightmares!
You know, in my highschool they say that if you give a teacher super high marks during evaluation, the administration will put them in a list of “teachers to watch out for”. But giving them low marks help as well
Pero yun nga, if it’s too high parang on probation din sila kasi baka nagpapasa sila ng mga students not worthy of passing. Teachers are so weird.

yellow cab’s the best in town!! wala lang. hehe. kakabusog. kakataba. kakamiss. hmmm. hehe. tapos wawa naman ung mouse mo. ako i hate mouse kasi baho sila ang very sneaky i hate it kapag nakakita ako ng isa kasi pakialamero, binutas ung damit ko. hehe. tapos eyon. teachers who doesn’t know how to spell is like, they don’t want to admit they don’t know how to spell. tapos ang 666 daw ay hindi totoo. hehe. freaky lang.

I don’t like Yellow Cab that much either and would prefer Pizza Hut over it anytime. Both are pretty expensive, so I’ll gladly stick to the expensive and delicious one.
The mouse I’m using is really irritating. Diba mouse costs about Php100? May scroller na ba yun? I want to buy a new one. Actually, I want a trackball again but it’s expensive. And I’m thinking of a wireless optical mouse. Haaay, computer accessories. Tsk.
I love Friday the 13th’s talaga. Anyway, nothing unusual happened naman nung 666 diba? If ever meron, it’s probably a sham.
Haaay, high school teachers. Kaya maganda talagang may evaluation. Payback time!

I actually do like yellow cab but sometimes they make it too oily and I don’t like eating it.666 is a load of crap, those numbers don’t mean anything. Well hope your cat stays away from the new mouse thingy.

I was shocked when you said that your mouse was slaughtered by your cat. I thought, for a moment there, that it was a real bloody, dismembered mouse you got. Buti na lang hindi.
666 is just a human construct. There’s no such thing as a lucky or an unlucky number.

my sentiments exactly!!! haha you’re probably the first person i know, who, like me, prefers pizza hut over yellow cab! i dont understand why people like the taste so much.

Yellow Cab’s actually my fave pizza resto. I love their Roasted Garlic and Shrimp pizza. I think their food is better than Pizza Hut’s, but that’s just me. ;P
