Bakklaang Dignity
We had our retreat in Hacienda Gracia, Lubao, Pampanga. The place is so cool and nice. There is a swimming pool, huts (where we eat), a cold conference room, dormitories, lots of rest rooms, hectars of land and very delicious food (breakfast, snacks, lunch, snacks and dinner). I love the place! The sessions we had are really mememorable. Some of my classmates cried, but me, no!
In one particular session, we affirmed each other. We’ve got to talk to all of our classmates. And yes, after that session, we were all tired, tired to talking. My jaws were aching! Try this: talk to 40 people with only a minute rest for every person. For sure, your jaws will be like lead after doing that. We also had this session where we made a sentence out of our favorite letters. And the sentence reads as: Mga bakklaang Dignity, solid, astig, lufet ever! (Bakla in the sense of being happy always.)
We were allowed to go swimming at night. No, I don’t know how to swim but I enjoyed it. On the second night, we were like swim-all-you-can. Lol. Some of my classmates were swimming until midnight. And our facilitators have to remove our morning praise so we can rest. My classmates are like bats! Lol! They don’t want to sleep! I was so tired that I’ve got to sleep. And yes, we were texting each other in the middle of the night! Lol! Cellphones are not allowed hu? Hehe. And most of my male classmates were all in the girls’ room. Lol. I also went there numerous times. Boys are outnumbered in our class. Thirteen boys versus 29 girls.
I really thought I will not enjoy our retreat… and now, I’m still savoring all of the things we did there. If it’s possible to have a part two (or even a part three) of our retreat, I’ll join!
And now, I think, I don’t want to graduate from high school but I can’t stop the time from ticking…

OMG! just saw ur picture and I envy u! I remember the days when I had a “SANGKAN”, its like a jamboree for all seminarians and it was also held there in Pampanga. Now that makes me cry reminiscing those days.

The last time I had my last retreat was approx 6 5 years go..? O_o (Grabeh, ang tanda ko na T_T) I enjoyed every minute of it as much as you did! Retreats are both fun and tiring.
Sobrang nangalay ba yung jaws mo? Nakakapagsalita ka pa ba?

wow ang saya naman ng retreat niyo, may mga activities pa kayong ginawa tulad nun.. sana maging masay rin ang retreat namin… nakkatuwa naman grabe… for sure na enjoy mo rin yung retreat niyo, hehehe… takecare and god bless

uyy ang sarap naman ng feeling nung may swimming pang kasama sa retreat..kami lam mo experience namin nitong 2005 na retreat namin..horror talaga as in rami naming experience sa baguio grabeehh. katakot.
buti pa sainyo ganon, pero enjoy din naman sa amin, mas sosyal lang sa inyo.
yup wala talgang cp kahit sa amin, pero nung talagang nasa retreat na, pumayag na adviser namin..hehe bait raw kami. new layout ka na pala. niceee oneee..gusto ko ng colors!!

Namiss ko na tuloy yung retreats namin nung hiskul. Memorable yung retreat namin nung 4th yr na kmi ksi last retreat na lang yun. Duh. Hehehe! Ang daming umiyak pero masaya naman dahil na resolve na lhat yung mga misunderstandings.
Sa batch namin mas marami rin yung girls. 12 lng ata yung boys. LOL

I didn’t really enjoy our retreat. It’s not even half as exciting as yours. Swimming pa..La kami nun..May curfew pa nga eh, asar. Hehe in fairness mukhang masaya yung activities nyo..Yung amin kasi, wala lang. Hay, ewan ko ba..

I’m envious! Swimming pool sa retreat house! Oh well, our retreat back then was in Tagaytay, kaya there ain’t no pools since it’s chilly there… Hehe…
