A walk to forget
Last two days ago, I borrowed “A Walk to Remember” by Nicholas Sparks in our library. It’s the first Nicholas Sparks book I ever read. Well, I still have not finished it yet but I’ll try to finish it this day. I’m already on page 217. And after 217 pages… there are only few things that happened, actually, you can count them! Yeah, I’m already on the part of the book where Jamie is dying. It’s so sad, thinking that this is the first fiction tragedy book that I ever read and Landon really love her. I like the book but the only thing that I don’t like is that the transition of events are very very slow! And it’s not in full detail. With 23 pages left I don’t think so there will be more things that will happen to Landon, and one more thing, the font size is big. The next book I’ll read is “The Notebook” by Nicholas Sparks.
Some of our test papers were already handed back. I’m so happy that I’m the highest in Math, English and Music. Lol. I did not expected to be the highest in Music. Health is okay… one mistake. TLE is good. Physics is good… If I’m not mistaken I’m the fourth one with the highest score. Filipino is not so good but not bad. But I totally sucked at Social Studies. I got a low score but it’s not a failing one.
During our finals which is a month from now, we will don’t have written exams (in most subjects). We’ll have a play in English, a sort of a film for Social Studies, catering in TLE. Well, I forgot the others. This mean that we will spend lots of money and time for these. I think I should go on hiatus by mid-February.
Oh, USTET results will be released this Saturday. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
I was watching American Idol just a while ago. Dunno if it’s the latest season because It’s my first time to watch it. Yeah, you heard me right… my first time. I’m not a big fan of it. So there is this girl who tried for an audition. Her name is Rhonetta (I’m not sure) and do you know what she did? She only sang to lines of some stupid crap of song. Lol. She expected to be in. Sorry! She even cursed the the judges! Pardon… bye!
I think it’s raining all day because of Rhonetta. Lol. Joke. There’s a storm here in the Philippines. Just this morning… when I was about to take a bath. There was a power interruption! Wahh! So I took a bath with a candle. Lol. Yeah… it’s funny but do I have a choice? And oh, I was to conserve water by that time…

Grabe antataas naman ng grade mo. Wahahaha. Naalala ko din nu’ng HS ako, may mga times na highest ako or isa sa mga highest, ‘tas pag halos lahat ng classmates ko matataas, mistakes ang bilangan, tipong, ilan ang mistakes mo? imbis na ilan ka?

I haven’t read the book, I’ve seen the movie though. I hated the movie, it’s so predictable. I predicted that Jamie was the miracle. And the fact that I’ve watched it with my pasaway and loud cousins sa punong-punong theater ng Rob Place Manila way back in 2001, sobrang ingay namin pinagtitinginan na kami… LOL…. So you’re reading love slash tragedy stuff huh? I’m not really a fan of such genre, but I’ve read LOVE STORY by one of my favorite authors, ERICH SEGAL. It’s a short story about two Harvard lovers and someone died din, e-book version lang nga ang binasa ko eh coz it’s so short, siguro less than 5 hours matatapos mo na.
Wow, you’re really a good student. Keep it up! I loved everything about 4th year subjects! TLE? Nabago na pala name ng Technology and Home Economics (THE)? Fave subject ko din sya noon coz of accounting and bookkeeping and stuff. Hehe… Anyway, stop reminiscing… Goodluck with your UST exam! And oh, I’m an avid fan of American Idol. Yep, it’s the latest season (5h season) you’ve seen.. Last week pa sya nag-start… Grabe yung mga Americans… I’m planning to make an entry nga eh, entitled AMERICAN RETARDOLS… Ang dami kasing crazy auditioners din eh.. But I’m wondering… Kasi parang yung mga ganong auditions, parang SINASADYA na lang nila… After WILLIAM HUNG, parang KI-NAREER na nila yung pagiging mukhang tanga and demented and schizophrenic and talentless at kung anu-ano pang gimmicks sa harap ng kamera, para maging, what else, FAMOUS… They don’t mind looking awful there and they don’t mind if they make it to Hollywood, as long as they get to be famous… And I think that some people were hired by American Idol just to look crazy, you know, some of them are actors and actressess who can act and look crazy in front of the camera.. Okay, I’m blabbering.. Hehe… Laters…

Hahahahha.. Natawa ako sa title ng post mo. Pero oo nga yung A Walk to Remeber ehhh.. ang bagal. Yung The Notebook, gusto ko sya.. sa movie. Ndi ko pa nababasa sa libro. Basta gusto ko yung acting sa movie. Natural kasi. Lalo na yung guy. Nakakatuwa talaga sya.
Yung AI ndi ko napapanood na. Pero oo, new season na yun malamang kasi ndi naman i aair dito yung last.. eh syempre alam na ng lahat na nanalo yung babae (forgot the name) basta kahawig ni kelly.. aaahh si underwood ata something. Lolz! Sa Star World ata yun diba?
Hay. Nasisipon nga ako ngayon pano nagpaulan ako nung isang araw. Bad trip!! Nga pala.. pasensya ndi ako nakareply sa text mo last time.. ubos na load ko kasi.. LOLZ!!! Teka.. mahal ba pag globe to smart?? Parang ang bilis naman kasi maubos ng load ko!

I liked the book “A Walk to Remember” too. lol… and then I also read another Nicholas Sparks book.. though I don’t think I remember the title anymore.
Oh yeah! “Message in a Bottle”.

Did you apply for ACET too? UPCAT? La Salle? I’m crossing my fingers too for USTET… But I applied for Nursing BS… so I’m not really raising my hopes that high, because I heard it’s really hard to get in that course.. But yeah, I’m still confident since the grades still aren’t out!
I haven’t watched any show of American Idol yet.. lol I’m a computer geek, you see.
I spend all my days online. 
Yes, I’m pathetic. Anyways, I don’t really think it’s a storm. Just rain, and more rain. Probably because of the low pressure?

congrats louie for having high scores in your periodic exams… got high scores too! but not in music lol. anyways…you’re reading a walk to remember by nicholas sparks? wow. i’ve seen the movie… i thought.. the book is more detailed than the movie… (most of it are like that) the movie was really sad. although it was realistic unlike others…
anyways… American Idol? I only enjoy watching their auditons.. since it really makes me laugh! most of its contestants… sing soo bad! haha. anyways, mas malakas lang talaga loob ng mga kano, kahit walang ibubuga sasali pa rin, di gaya ng pinoy! lol.

Oh cool, A Walk to Remember. I love the movie version of it. The story was good too. Anyway, I havent read any books of Nicholas Spark yet though. I might try to someday. They say the movie of the Notebook is also nice. I think ill buy a DVD of it.

Kami naman kakaexam lang this week so wala pang results. Hopefully ok naman yung akin lol. 
Kami rin we wont have Quarterly Exams on some subjects during the next quarter. Sa P.E., LT (CAT) and TLE because of some major activities.

Yeah may bagyo nga dito sa Pinas. Wala pa naman kaming brown-out though. Naalala ko tuloy yung time na naligo ako na candle lang gamit. lol. Nakaktuwa. haha. Although ang tagal na nun.

ive seen the movie a couple of times. everytime i see it in hbo pnapanood ko parin. and read the book twice. haha. i havent read the notebook but i rented a vcd last summer lang. maganda naman.

ang wirdo nga nung rhonetta. kakaloko sya. tapos talagang special yung pag-air ng audition nya. with matching intro pa. ang kulit.

I watched “A walk to remember” 50 times when I graduated from high school. I watched it on pirated VCD and then watched it on the theater once in a while. I couldn’t help but fall in love with Landon, whose personality is the same with the real person I was adoring during those times. Isn’t it fun to reminisce the yesteryears? (for me…)
I passed UST when I had my exam. But my dad didn’t want me to go there, my mom was having second thoughts. she wanted me to, but she thought about the flood during rainy season. She told me that it reaches your waist when the rain falls really hard. hahaha.

i’ve read the book when I was in grade 6. the storyline really was slow paced. i like watching the movie than reading the book, it is better felt that way. i only get very high grades at chemistry and english that is because i like the chem and eng teachers.
goodluck on your USTET results. i was supposed study pharmacy there but fortunately, i passed the UPCAT and i am currently studying at UP Manila right now.

I haven’t read the book yet but I have seen the movie. The story is nice but I personally don’t like Mandy Moore who played as the dying girl in the story. Hehe! I don’t know why.
I’ve also seen The Notebook and mas gusto ko yun.

ah tungkol sa book ng a walk to remember na basa ko na rin yan matagal na i think 2003 or 2002 cant remember and i also cant remember the story hahaha alam ko eh namatay si lalaki ay si babae pala dahil sa leukemia ba yun? medyo boring sya buti pang panuorin sa movie.

hello again! I’m hooked by your writing skills, really.
I’ve never watched or read A Walk to Remember due to a suspicion that the phasing of the book might be too dragging to read. In all actuality, I believe it is.
BTW, I noticed that we have the same interests regarding the genres of the novels we read. i’m looking forward in reading Angels and Demons, pero masyado akong kuripot para gumastos ng £6.99 para sa isang book. Pero dahil si Dan Brown yan eh tiya-tiyagain akong bumili. I’ve read DVC and Digital Fortress, but DVC is more appealing compared to Digital Fortress. Why? I managed to figure out the passcode before it was revealed in the later parts of DF.

hi louie! though i didn’t read the novel of a walk to remember but since the movie was my all time favorite, i can assume the novel is twice as good as the movie right? kakalungkot nga lang kasi sad ending.
anyway, same with the notebook, naku naiyak na naman ako sa story. never expect it to be that good kasi medyo di ko trip ung setting ng unang panahon pero astig pala haha.. referring only to the movie.
ang nabasa kong novel ni NS ay ung The Rescue. Ayos naman sya kaso pang adult haha… bat ba ang hilig ko sa ganung genre. Tanda ko na. lol
anyway, kudos kasi mataas ka sa mga quizzes mo! im sure you’ll graduate w/ honors. naks! tsaka sana nakapasa ka nga sa USTET!!! ano balak mong course?
