Plans for college
Well, I know this is still very early (well I’m not sure). But you know what?! I should really start planning for my college life, where to study and what course to take. I don’t want problems to stack (as high as a building). This is a hyperbole.. lol. Well, as you all know, I’m an incoming Senior HS, one step beyonde college. Classes will resume very very soon. Hmm… moving on, my parents want me to take Nursing but I don’t like that idea. I don’t want to be an achay/yaya/katulong (in short… maid) of a doctor. Parang pinasosyal lang ang pangalan. Lol. Hmm… well, if you are going to ask me, what I want to take in college is Fine Arts or Architecture. The only problem is, I’m not really good at drawing. I’ll try to show some of my works if I will find one in my cabinet. And Architecture is Five Years! I’m also thinking something that is computer related. IT? Computer Science? Computer Engineering? I don’t know which is the best course to choose among these three courses. And I’m also thinking if I’ll go for Mass Communication. Help me. As for the college or university, I want to go to UST or UP or DLSU… hehe. Hey, I’m being pressured.. lol. I hope I already decided which is which before my problems will pile up.
Want to see me at TV? Haha… this is no joke… lol. Well, back in March, there were these people from SCNI (a cable provider here in pampanga). And had a tapping in our school (to make a commercial for our school). I just saw the commercial.. I was in the commercial! Haha! Alas, it was only my back.. lol. Sayang hindi ako madidiscover… lol. Joke.

Good luck with college choices. I agree with you about the Nursing thing.. I, myself, didn’t want to major in Nursing.. but sadly, I don’t want to spend 8 years of my life trying to please my parents. So, I kind of have no choice in the matter. It’s a good thing I’m good in the sciences. Making long-term decisions are tough.. but you’ll get through it. I managed to make a compromise with my parents so now I’m double majoring in Art History and Nursing. I really wanna be a fashion designer. lol.

I know exactly what you mean. I think it’s a great idea that your planning so early. I did that too, and now I’m a senior, I am less stressed out about it because I know exactly what I want to do, and how I am going to get there. The only thing is that I want to do so much, but I know there’s no way for me to do that. I don’t think you neccessary have to be good in art to be an architecture. Don’t most use computer programs these days? I know a lot of designers who does not know how to draw at all.
Anyways, jsut want to let you know that you have a very cute site. First male I know who has a PINK layout. That’s my favorite color
I also love Harry Potter!! Can’t wait for the next book to come out. I’ve already pre-ordered it, so it will be at my front steps the day of it’s release

talga!! dapat ka na magstart ng list ng preferred schools and courses mo nu!! wag mo ako gayahin.. last minute! as in isang school lang ang inaapplyan ko.. UP>. yafaaang ko!! ndi naman pumasa kasi quota yung CS dun.. hahaha!! sayang!! bagsak ko?? AMA~! hahahha!!!

for real, i envy you being skinny.. i nmean it.. i really want to be skinny, because in just wnna be.haha.i have a fine body, they describe it as y and cuvacious, but i don’t think so. haha. i think i’m big and all that. well… for your college, you better pick a nice school, better pick at Manila Universities.. there are many of them i guess… but there’s also UP pampanga, so you just sort it out.. and yes, I am a big hp fan, i forgot to answer you back then. I am and I always get the same reaction like Im a new reader of it everytime I open it. haha. so there.. try PLM, it’s good as UP.. but it’s a lot harder.. trust me, it is.. now take care and do love pets.. they’re amazing.. haha.. muah!!!

hmm. nursing. malaki kasi sweldo! isang napaka liwanag na dahilan kung bakit gusto nila yun ang kunin mo. ngek! saka madali kasi makakuha ng trabaho. hmm. archi. dapat yun din kukunin ko sa UST. problema ko din na hindi ako marunong magdrawng pero tuturuan naman daw eh, madami ng archi ang hindi marunong sa simula pero natuto din magdrawing at the end. kaya goodluck sa pagpili. sabi ng friend ko sa DLSU. ComSci yung kinukuha nya. sa mga susunod daw na kukuha ng course na yun, pelase mag-isip ng mabuti. dahil parusa daw! haha. anyway. kaw padin bahala. diba? goodluck sa college life!

Don’t get yourself under too much pressure. College DO is important, but take your time and consider it well. =)

it’s good that you’re considering college as early as now. if i were you i’ll go to lasalle and take a computer related course. but you’ll be bored with that cause you’re good at it na e. pero you have a future dun ha. uhmmm journalism is also a good one. but you’ll face a lot of sharks with it. career choice is really hard. tignan mo ngyon i’m still having problems sa pag-cocollege. though as if everyone is against your choice dangit yaan mo lang. it’s your life anyway. basta go for what you love and for sure mgeexcell ka dun kahit anu pa sabihin nila. pero sabi nga mgmahalan tau dalawa kase tayo ay malapit ng mgmigrate… ay mali sila pala. haha maiiwan tau dalawa. kaya alam mu na ang pressure sa leecheng trabaho sa US. uhmmm goodluck nalang sayo louie. pero mas goodluck muna sakin. tom. ko na malalaman ang life-turning ekek ko. kaya pray for me.

I admire you for planning ahead. Just weigh things, the pros and cons. Don’t rush to things easily. You might regret it in the end. It’s your future that you’re talking about.
I am a Computer Eng’g student (3rd yr nxt sem). If you are interested in taking this course, math skills are important since it’s an eng’g course. If not, you must be diligent because ‘those who study hard’ can survive this course. You will also be handling the hardware, programming skill is also needed kasi you need to design stuffs inside it.

ahhh..college..i was supposed to go to ateneo if we didn’t have to fly to the US..*sighs* but i think UP is a good school though..that was my second choice..but of course, whichever you choose, it’s up to you!!

Ouch… my eyes hurt.. lmao.. I went to Reine’s site.. didn’t know where to tag her.. it’s cute… it just hurts my eyes. LOL. Maybe it’s because of my contacts, too.
=) Yeah.. I’m glad you agree with me about artists’ singing other artists’ songs… it’s kind of annoying.. which is part of the reason why we don’t have TFC. lol. Anyways, Pops and Regine did really well. It was fun.. they sang, danced, and made jokes… and their little conversations on stage didn’t seem scripted at all.
Again, good luck with college decisions.. If I was in the Philippines I’d go to school in the Univ. of the Philippines, too since everyone in my family went there. lol.

It’s really good you’re planning things early. Architecture is a pretty tough course. I also considered that course before but when I found out that it requires lots of math (which i have no passion nor patience on) I closed the idea. If you don’t think you’re not good in drawing, you can always take up drawing lessons.

Anyway, hey, you’re only 15. Sure you still have time to think about stuff. The best thing is to choose what you enjoy. Anything you enjoy. Whether you’re good at it or not, as long as you enjoy it, you will remain sane.

Hello?! The fact that you draw and you take time to draw means you have the talent noh! Siyempre, mas lalong maeenhance yung skills mo when you take the course. If it’s what you love, maraming paraan para maging successful ka!
Oh and buti nga ikaw nagpplan ka na eh.. Ako nga di pa eh! As in wala pa kong alam na course na ittake ko! Super wala. Hehe.

Dernitall, I’m 14-going-15 and I’m prancing around like an elementary student on a sugar overdose!XD Grabe, you remind me that I should grow up already :p And my mum is telling me to take up nursing, too. NO WAY. This psychogirly is taking Fine Arts/ Architecture/ IT/ whatever course nuns take XD And I bet you ARE good at drawing… ;p UP is pretty good, I’m taking summer art classes there (UP cebu, not Diliman :p)
