Ang alamat ng nilagang baka
I think I had the worst Christmas ever! I already celebrated Christmas without my father but I can’t consider it as a sad Christmas. Even I want to busy myself with something, I can’t find a thing to busy myself with.
Last night, I registered to Globe’s Unlimited promo, and now, I wish I have not… most of Globe’s subscribers are having a hard time to register. I think Globe is not allowing more registrations because they know, most of the Filipinos will greet their loved ones and friends thru SMS or text. I receive text messages very seldom.
You know what? I thought I will have the best Christmas ever. And now, it turned up to be the opposite. My day is very boring… nobody will wish to have a Christmas like mine.
Yesterday, I had to stand for 60+ minutes during the mass. After that, I had the worst Noche Buena. We don’t have any visitors which does not happened in the past years. It was only during the last minutes of December the 24th when we grilled some Barbeques. That’s all what I ate… and as usual Nilagang Baka was served but I did not try it because I know it will be served in the other houses we will go. And yes, the Nilagang Baka was not missing in the dinning tables of the houses we visited. It’s some sort of family tradition.
It’s so dry…
And now, I’m alone here at home. Father is in the USA, mother and my siblings are in Macabebe, they’ll spend their whole night day there and yaya is out, went to hear mass. And I… taong bahay. (I was my mother and my siblings a while ago but my dad told me to go home.)
I upgraded my WordPress to version2.0-RC3. It’s not yet the stable one so there are still bugs left. My theme switcher is malfunctioning; please refresh this window so you’ll view the layout that you selected. I also have to turn off Comment Quicktags at the moment. I still have not renewed my domain. But I think I will be able to renew it before year 2006 starts.
In three days time, I will turn a year older. I wish it’s not as bad as my last birthday.

hmm.. about the unlimited thing, and i thought sun cel was gonna undergo a major breakdown on xmas eve kasi marami din magtetext, and guess what, nothing bad happened. advanced happy birthday na rin pala :):grin:

:redface: i still have the worst xmas than yours, at least kau marami sa bahay me naku dalawa lang kami ng mama ko coz just like yours my father is abroad… at least your family still celebrated xmas with noche buena unlike ours we celebrated xmas earlier, like in dinner time.. so ordinary. after that, i was the only one awake during xmas everyone else in the house were asleep…
then the next day, i was left all alone just like you haha.. taong bahay nga.

Anyhoo, just look at the brighter side. at least you had noche buena (yes you’re right it’s noche buena)… unlike with the other kids in the street na kahit kanin man lang wala sila makain.

same here..my worst christmas ever. I was really really sick. Fever with stomach ache. No celebration.My first christmas of not going to church. What’s worst than that?

kami rin naman walang bisita nung pasko eh.. hm..nilagang baka? dito sa amin, walang ganyang handa, kahit sa mga kapitbahay namin.. ang ordinary kasing pagkain dito, fruit salad, bbq, spaghetti, pansit, gelatin, ham, sandwich, caldereta, afritada, menudo, mechado..etc. except yung may sabaw ka2lad ng sinabi mo ahihihi..
parepareho lang tayo, wala Papa ko nasa abroad since 2000 pa!

I didn’t feel the Christmas at first pero parang nagkaroon ng aftershock yung Christmas ko. Hihihi. Ganown.
