2005 is having its last hours here on earth. Parang mamamatay na… hehe Welcome 2006! This year, there are so many new things that happend to me. They are listed below.
- It’s my first time to buy a domain. I applied for this site last February 2 but it was only paid and activated by February 3. Now, I don’t know when I’ll celebrate Asteeg.Net’s first year anniversary. Lol. Btw, I already renewed my site, my host had already confirmed it.
- It’s my first time to attend a JS Prom. Of course, in our school. Lol. At first, almost everyone in our batch does not want to have a JS Prom. And in the end we enjoyed it. Though I did not danc and the food is not delicious. Tama bang pakainin kami ng Bread Sticks for appetizer?
- It’s my first time to witness a conclave (on CNN).
- It’s my first time to run for the SC. And I ran for the position of president. Lol. And I was the one who covered the SC Elections for the our school’s official student publication. I wrote there my failure. Lol
- It’s my first time to be the top 03. I did not expect it. And now, I’m being pressured.
- It’s when I read many books. That will include Dan Brown’s DVC and A&D. I read DVC first befor A&D… lol. And will somebody explain to me why A&D’s title is A&D? I also read Mitch Albom’s The Five People you Meet in Heaven and JK Rowling’s HP HBP. Btw, I’m still reading Tw7sted by Jessica Zafra and I’m going to give back my classmate’s copy of Memoirs of a Geisha… I don’t like Golden’s style of writing (and even Pauolo Coehlo’s).
The list can go on but I’ve got to stop. And now, presenting my resolutions.
- I have to stop eating junk foods and cup noodles. They’re bad for my health. And that’s why I’m still skinny until now. I’ve got to eat a lot of vegtables (I’m learning to love them), fruits and fish! Yeah, fish! Haha! Stop eating prok!
- Post more sensible thoughts here.
- Try to love my stupid classmates. Actually, we will be having our retreat on the 4th day of 2006.
- Time management is what I really need.
Happy 2006 to all!

It’s my birthday today and now, I’m officially 16 years old. Syempre nagsimba muna ako tapos hinintay ko yung iba kong mga classmates dito sa bahay… wala kasi akong perang panlibre sa kanila kaya dito na lang sa bahay. Tapos nun, nagpunta kami ng SM para maglibot.
You know what? I should already had renewed my site but SM Pampanga’s BPI branch’s TF is 100 bucks. So I think I’ll just visit other banks (Equitable, Metrobank or other branches of BPI). Tammy said that Metrobank’s TF is only 50 bucks… maghinayang ba naman ba sa 50 bucks? Lol. Pero hoy! Mahirap ang buhay ngayon! Ni pang subscribe lang nga ng DSL wala ako… hehe. Pwede na sakin yung wi-fi ng Smart. So I think, by tomorrow, I already renewed my site.
BTW, I already finished reading A&D, actually I finished it last Saturday. So far, I think it’s the best book I had read. Dan Brown rocks! No offence, JK Rowling. Lol. The book’s good and I suggest it to everybody. But beware… there are some brutal parts in the book and other horrid scenes that are not suitable for the younger reading community. Parental Guidance is recomended. Lol. I’m too tired to wirte a review of the book. Sorry.

I think I had the worst Christmas ever! I already celebrated Christmas without my father but I can’t consider it as a sad Christmas. Even I want to busy myself with something, I can’t find a thing to busy myself with.
Last night, I registered to Globe’s Unlimited promo, and now, I wish I have not… most of Globe’s subscribers are having a hard time to register. I think Globe is not allowing more registrations because they know, most of the Filipinos will greet their loved ones and friends thru SMS or text. I receive text messages very seldom.
You know what? I thought I will have the best Christmas ever. And now, it turned up to be the opposite. My day is very boring… nobody will wish to have a Christmas like mine.
Yesterday, I had to stand for 60+ minutes during the mass. After that, I had the worst Noche Buena. We don’t have any visitors which does not happened in the past years. It was only during the last minutes of December the 24th when we grilled some Barbeques. That’s all what I ate… and as usual Nilagang Baka was served but I did not try it because I know it will be served in the other houses we will go. And yes, the Nilagang Baka was not missing in the dinning tables of the houses we visited. It’s some sort of family tradition.
It’s so dry…
And now, I’m alone here at home. Father is in the USA, mother and my siblings are in Macabebe, they’ll spend their whole night day there and yaya is out, went to hear mass. And I… taong bahay. (I was my mother and my siblings a while ago but my dad told me to go home.)

[EDIT] WordPress2.0 will be released soon, there might be errors in this site (especially the plugins) once I upgraded to 2.0. [/EDIT]
It’s just Hardbound vs. Paperback…
Reasons why to buy hardbound version of books
- The words are clearer and bigger… easy to read.
- People will know that you’re a big fan of that book. Lol.
- Most paperback version of the books (that I know) are only released after a year. That means, you don’t have to wait another year just to read the book.
Reasons why to buy paperback version of books
- Cheaper.
- It’s smaller and you can bring it wherever you want to go.
- If you found out the book is not interesting. It’s a good news for you. At least, you did not buy the hardbound one… which is too expensive.
Reasons why not to buy hardbound version of books
- It’s heavy especially if the book you are reading is thick.
- Expensive.
- You’ll look a nerd or a preacher of a cult. Lol.
- If you’re over protective with your books, you’ll be very annoyed once you see a folded page. Oi! Mahal ito… peste naman!
Reasons why not to buy paperback version of books
- The pages and even the cover are too thin and are easily to get crumpled.
- Smaller, thus it’s easy to get lost.
- Smaller fonts and the printing quality is not good.
- Stinky pages… the pages smell something else. Gross.
- You don’t have a choice but to cover them (I don’t cover hardbound books).

Man1: Pakibili mo ako ng suka sa tindahan heto ang 20 piso.
*Bumili ng suka sa tindahan si Man2 at kabalik nya…*
Man2: Heto yung sukang pinabili ninyo 30 piso yan, nagdagdag pa ako.
Man1: Ay, thank you! Thank you!
Kapal noh? Nangyari na ba sainyo yan? Sus!
