Mr. & Mrs. Smith

First of all, I want to greet all of the FIlipinos visiting my site a Happy Independence Day though there is something wrong happening right now in the Philippines (I’m talking about those CDs). Moving on, last Friday I played badminton together with my sibllings and my father. It was fun, and now my muscles are still aching. I watched Mr. & Mrs. Smith, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. I did not understand the movie! Lol. Well, the effects are great! If it happen you watched the movie, could you please tell me the story? Lol. And if I were to rate it, I’ll rate it 6/10.

I got this from IMDb.com

A married couple (Pitt and Jolie) are getting bored with their quiet domestic life. What they don’t know, however, is that they’re both assassins, secretly hopping the world and killing for hire. But their separate lives are about to collide when each finds out their next target is their own spouse.

That helped a little… hehe. Oh, no classes tomorrow! Thanks GMA!

Ikaw? Nasaan ka noon?

Where were you when God gave brains?

This is the striking statment (is it?) our English teacher always says. No he is not sermoning us because we don’t got brains. He was just orienting us. He was saying teachers should not speak like this when their students answer a question wrong. He’s right. Agree? Do you understand everything? Lol… I sound like a teacher. He also said we should not speak something like this:

I want to greet each and everyone of you a pleasant afternoon.

Or

Sit down.

Because they are wrong!

And now, I want our previous English teacher back! I don’t like our present English teacher. He’s somehow stict. I got to go, I still need to research something about Literature. And oh, I hope our English teacher won’t find this blog.

Thanks to Hazel for the gift she sent to me!

The first day

Classes is officially opened again. My first day at school is not bad. I was on civilian clothes (that’s normal, we wear civilian clothes every first day of school). The very first thing that made me shocked when I stepped in our school, was my former classmate. She was crying. Why? She was transfered to the second section. Actually, there were eight (even those people who make our day happy) who were transfered to the other section. And me, I’m still in the first section! All my life, I never experienced to be in the second section. We reflected on a poem, the poem was good…

GOD’S BOXES OF LOVE
Limin Hong

I have in my hands two boxes
Which God gave me to hold.
He said: “Put all your sorrows in the black,
And all your joys in the gold.”

I heeded his words, and in the two boxes
Both my joys and sorrows I stored.

But though the gold became heavier each day,
The black was as light as before.

With curiosity, I opened the black.
I wanted to find out why.
And I saw, at the base of the box, a hole
Which my sorrows had fallen out by.

I showed the hole to God, and mused aloud,
“I wonder where my sorrows could be.”

He smiled a gentle smile at me.
“My child, they’re all here with me.”

I asked God, “Why give the boxes?
Why thw gold and the black with hole?”

“My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings,
The black is for you to let go.”

The poem is nice right? And you can reflect on it when you are stressed and feels unhappy. Moving on, we also had our Class Officers Election this day, very fast? Well, as usuall there were no transferees from other school (but from other section, we have). And arghh! I was even elected as the auditor! I’ll get some money from our class funds and use it… lol. Joke! We don’t even have to vote, because we know each other very well. Our class president was elected for the eight time (in a row)! And we’ve got to clean the room every Friday, and good thing I don’t have to join those malandi (I saw one right before we go back home! I don’t like how that new transferee walks) and maarte classmates on cleaning the room. Lolz. We were dismissed at 12:00 noon. Regular classdays will start on Thursday. And for the mean time we will be dismissed at 12:00 noon.

[EDIT] We will be meeting our subject teachers this Thursday. I’m getting nervous with our new English teacher. He has a doctorate degree (huwaat?!) and already have his own family. I think he is strict! And er, dunno if I will make it again to the official publication of our school and press con. Well, if I will be asked, I still want to join the press con and the official publication of our school once again because it’s fun. And oh, the venue of the National Press Conference is really wonderful, I won’t reveal it first, I want to be sure of it. [/EDIT]

Hair styles

Yes, after a week, a brand new layout which features the trio (again). I just did some colorizing and add some noise and brushes. Presto! Dunno why I’m hooked on using Impact and Georgia. The ‘font mix’ is wonderful for me. Well, as you can see the trio got again a brand new hair style. If you have watched the trailer, you will see that they have different hair style for each movie. And as for the two boys, their hairs are getting uh… WILD! and longer every movie. I only made this layout today! Pretty fast? Lol. I just want to change my layout before classes starts and I don’t like my previous layout (as what my two classmates had said).

June the sixth

I still don’t want to go back to school! But somehow I’m excited. This is the last step I’ll take before I can go to college. If I can just skip Senior HS and just be a Freshman again (college ofcourse!). But for sure I will not. Another year (ten months to be exactlly) will be spent again inside the four corners of the classroom. But now things will be different, we will be isolated from the others. Yes, that’s true. Our classroom will be beside our Covered Court sorry, I mean our Multi-Purpose Court (the things we do in our multi-purpose court: badminton, volley ball, programs, assemly, practice area, “canteen” of some of the students, and many others). That’s why sometimes (I think) we can’t consentrate with our studies. Good thing only one teacher said “good bye” to us because every school year we’ve got a brand new set of teachers! Sosyal! Lol. I’ll miss that teacher (somehow) he was good to me. I’ll see my everlasting (GROSS) classmates again. Haha. I’ll be buying again Spagheti (with cockroach… joke) and softdrinks in our very hot cafeteria. That are just some of our “rituals” at our school. In the near future, I might be posting some of our “rituals” again.
