Network feud
If you are in the Philippines, I’m sure you know about this: The battle of the big two local networks, ABS-CBN and GMA. Who’s better? Who is imitating the other network’s programs? I do not believe poll results because they are not 100% accurate. And besides, both networks are claimng that they are the number one station in and out of Manila. I’m a kapamilya (ABS-CBN); notr a kapuso (GMA). I watch both network’s programs. I admit, some of ABS-CBN’s programs are stupid, like “Kamao, Matira ang Matibay,” a reality based show (is it?) where boxers fight. Duh?! Who’s going to watch that!? Manny Pacquiao? In the past, ABS-CBN is the imitator but lately I noticed that it’s GMA who is the imitator. Look, ABS got “Goin’ Bulilit” and now, GMA will air “Bubble Gang JR” soon. Both are gag shows where the cast are children. ABS is the first network who aired chinovelas, now, GMA also entered the world of chinovelas. ABS is also the first who aired fantaseryes (Marina). And now, GMA have Marinara, Mulawin, Encantadia and Darna. (I don’t watch fantaseryes and chinovelas). The feud even reached Cebu! ABS got the original ideas while GMA is improving the other network’s ideas. Right? Well, this two networks are just the same, they imitate each other. I wonder when will this stop.

And oh, wonder how I had posted this? I’m uising PLDT’s pay per surf. Mind you, pay per surf is expensive! Thirty bucks an hour, if I’m not mistaken. I’ll logout now, as in now! Thank you!
